courtesy of Hans Frei - hazy and very dark brown beer under a little beige foam left; fair aroma of prunes and black cherries;vinous and with notes of marzipan; full-bodied, pretty earthy, assertive and quite thick; fairly bitter, quite dry and long hoppy finish of black cherries and licorice with some coffee below - very good !
